Hooray!! Arsenal begin to get their act together

He!! It would appear as if the 8-2 thumping at Manchester United has prompted a slight shift in our transfer policy. In that case we owe United a huge debt of gratitude for thumping us. I have been getting stick from Mrs. AfroGunner, you see she tells me that I should change teams and support United. Everytime Arsenal plays, all she says is,

” tell me, after the game, how many goals Arsenal loses by”

Now, you will notice that of late;

1.       We haven’t been the youngest team in the league. United are a younger team.

2.       We haven’t LACKED A LITTLE BIT THE SHARPNESS (LALBTS). We have lacked quality and organisation.

3.       We haven’t been robbed by the referee. Like a b*tch in heat, we have bent over and allowed United to mount us. From behind!! And they mounted us. From behind. No!!  *pukes*

And so we have run out of excuses for our failure.

Since then, the following players have come in;

1.      South Korean captain and Striker Chu Young Park. He will wear the cursed N0.9 Arsenal shirt. Let’s hope he breaks the curse of that shirt.

2.      German International Defender Per Metersacker from Werder Bremen. Deal to be officially announced by Arsenal.

3.      Andre Santos, a Brazilian International Left-back from Fernabahce.

4.      We are media- linked with Chelsea’s Israeli International attacking midfielder Yossi Benayoun. I don’t see that deal happening, but then I didn’t see us bending over for United… I think he is a decent player and right now, I’d take him. He is experienced and surely can’t be any worse than Rosicky or Arshavin.

I think we still need another Defender. It appears Bolton may have burnt bridges with Arsenal after their conduct in the Gary Cahill bid from arsenal saga. I don’t think they’ll be getting any Arsenal players on loan either. Fools. In that case I would go for Scott Dann. Again he can’t be any worse than Djourou can he? Djourou is slowly becoming the constant factor when Arsenal’s defence collapses… I like the guy but he is too error prone. He can still do a job as a sub though, just not as a first team starter right now. But I don’t see Wenger signing another defender.

I think we need a central midfielder to replace Fabregas- a proper ball player who can run things in midfield. Rosicky, Ramsey, wilshere and Diaby are not those players for various reasons. Defensive midfield is not too bad when song and the inexperienced Frimpong are back.

And we badly need a defensive coach.

So, in conclusion, I think we still need;

1.       1 more defender

2.       1 or 2 more central midfielders

3.       A defensive coach
