The end is near, but so too the beginning... Again...

Greetings to you all gloomy gunners.

So the Fabregas saga seems to be nearing its end. Hooray!! I cant wait. I know there is a lot of bad feeling torwards Fabregas, but to his credit, he has maintained a dignified silence throughout. If there is anybody to blame in all this, its the manager. Yes, Arsene Wenger must take the blame in all the noise surrounding the Club right now.
It strikes me that players first and foremost come to Arsenal because of Arsene Wenger and the way the team plays. They don’t come here to win trophies but to improve themselves. I think that most of the players have outgrown Arsene Wenger , his methods and ambition. He is to them like a high school coach. After you graduate from high school, you want to go professional and that means signing with a higher standard of coach. A high school coach also knows that he cannot manage big name professional players.  Now i’m not saying that we should start buying superstars like our friends at Citeh, Chelsea , but I’d love to see Wenger buy some mature players; we have too many kids in our squad.

Or does he not buy mature players because he cannot manage them? Honestly, i’m beginning to think that maybe, very sadly, Wenger should move on... not from Arsenal but to the Arsenal Academy where he can buy himself as many wonderkids as his heart  desires and develop them for the first team. Then I think Arsenal could get the best out of him. You see, the way he is going, next season Van Persie, Walcott, Djourou, Sagna and Song will want to leave. At that stage, we will go through another “rebuilding process”. We are forever rebuilding the first team and that is a big concern. The only constant is Wenger and it is for this reason that I am of the opinion that perhaps we need to change that constant.

For a club of Arsenal’s stature to be going through such bad press and uncertainty is shameful. Where is the Board in all of this? Where is Stan in all of this? Could somebody at Arsenal please provide us with some much needed leadership? That’s all I am crying for. The past 3 seasons I am getting more and more nervous at our prospects of the season ahead. Yes we have very good quality youngsters and a good team generally, but that team always goes into the season with glaring weaknesses. At the end of the season we are told the weaknesses will be fixed only to lose more players. This is not only affecting the fans, but the players too. Listening to the players speak, you get the sense that even they know that the squad is not strong enough to compete and that is the worst thing. To have a group a players who do not believe in their own collective strength. This is what leads the better players to want to move on to join stronger teams, where they will play with other good players.
For how long was Fabregas going to carry this club single handedly? There are not enough leaders in this squad to support any captain who is appointed. Fabregas is a young player would should not have been carrying such a burden on his shoulders in the first place. Great credit to him for giving it his all, others would have buckled or wanted out much sooner than him. Einstein, I think it is, said that insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results. So, Mr. Wenger, are you insane?

I Cant wait for the beginning of rebuilding the side... again...
